By GNOME, I'm guessing you mean the GNOME Foundation and so you need
to get directly in touch with the board:

have followed the advertised procedure for travel and have pinged the
travel committee recently already:

I'd like to book my flight as soon as possible.


Actually it's quite late so I'm afraid flights will be pretty
expensive. I highly recommend booking at least 2 months in advance.
