XESAM output format for metadata has not been defined yet (may never be
either)
I would need to persuade the others to adopt some xml format for this so
its not a short term thing
I know that Jos (strigi) uses some xml output format for his extractors, it is probably worth talking to him for a start.
Unfortunately we cannot squeeze this in to the first xesam iteration (but we can start planning it).
