I just committed them.

NOTE: Nautilus documentation will now be kept under nautilus/help/, not
under nautilus/user-guide.  This is keeping with the
(not-always-followed) standard for GNOME documentation which uses "help",
consistant with the installation under $prefix/gnome/help/.

I will go in and remove the documentation under nautilus/user-guide/ soon
to avoid any confusion.

I think they are referred to as PNG's.  Perhaps you are looking at the old
version under user-guide?

Yes.

We have three possible solutions here:
1) Vera provides the files used, so similar screenshots can be made
2) Different files are used, but without changing the meaning of the
screenshot.  The text doesn't make explicit reference to particular files
in the screenshots I don't think, so this is possible.  This could give a
more localized "flavour" to the screenshots.
3) Vera suggested at one time she may be willing to do the localized
screenshots.

There are advantages and disadvantages to each of these.  #3 makes things
easier for translators and makes the documentation more uniform.  Plus,
Vera has a lot of experience at making nice screenshots, doing callouts,
etc.  Of course this relies on Vera having the time to do this.

I guess the best thing would be to do #3 if Vera has time.  The only
caviot is that we would need translators to provide translated text for
any screenshot with callouts (text written on the screenshot to label
part of the image).  I'm not sure what the best way to transfer the
translations would be.  I think the callouts are added in the
GIMP.  Perhaps the translators could just send the translations and then
they could be pasted into the GIMP.  I just tried it with Spanish, which
seemed to work fine.  I'm not sure if GIMP supports Japanese, for example,
however.

Vera - Do you have time to make the localized screenshots? 

Or would it be better if the translators also localized the
screenshots?  In this case, let's post the files needed to localize the
screenshots.
