API freeze

As per the schedule, we have been in API freeze since 8th December:

If you feel that you need to break the freeze, please see
http://developer.gnome.org/dotplan/tasks.html#ApprovingFreezeBreaks

This should apply to GTK+ as well. We do want to be informed of those API
breaks, but we will not get in the way of important work that will not
disrupt development.
