That was during the MICO days.

dbus and bonobo are totally unrelated. dbus was not designed to be the basis
of a component system -> it's a simple [1] message bus. It would be like
building a component system on top of xml-rpc. bonobo is marginalised enough
as it is without pulling the carpet out from under it.
