Yeah, I seem to remember we said that if the dropdown Open button worked
well in gedit, we'd like to add a HIG recommendation to use it... just
another one of the HIG things we haven't got around to yet :/ (And as
you said, it would really need full support from the toolkit to be
widely adopted.)
