Most GNU/Linux desktop users: unlikely. Just for the record. I actually use evolution to deliver mail usually. It has simplistic online/offline mode, and happily talks authenticated encrypted SMTP back to work. I did also have postfix configured up to do the same, but it broke and I can't be bothered fixing it.
