Yeah, the pixmap engine and E also get us a reputation as a memory hog.
People have a different background on every desktop, shaped window pixmap
theme, and all this goo, then they flame us for not running on their P90.
:-)

Seriously, rewriting the pixmap theme to use GdkPixbuf and also to reduce
redraws (I'm told it redraws everything several times) would be much
appreciated.
