You might have an old libart.  ArtDestroyNotify was added (sort of)
recently.  You could try updating your gnome-libs (careful of the HEAD
branch!), or grab the libart_lgpl module directly.  I believe the proper
gnome-libs branch can be got with something like:

 cvs co -z3 -r gnome-libs-1-0 gnome-libs
