If I can get a patch...

The panel is crashing when using submenus on the applets,
I have written a simple panel applet to try this. If someone
wants to help me to test it, please tell me, I will apreciate
any input.
The question is where to submit a patch or lines describing where it
fails if I can figure where exactly the error is.
