cvs compile error in panel

when i compile GNOME cvs sources for panel (from Nov19) i get the following:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I. -I. -I../intl -I../intl -I../panel -DGNOMELOCALEDIR=\""/usr/local/share/locale"\" -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H -I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/lib/glib/include -g -O2 -Wall -Wunused -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -c panel_config.c
panel_config.c:814: warning: #warning FIXME: do the range correctly

i'm pretty sure i have the latest and greatest gcc-2.95.2 and binutils. does anyone know what's going on here? am i missing an upgrade to a build tool someplace in my toolchain?

thanks
jr
