Subscribing

After a number of tries to subscribe to the gnome list I finally succeeded, and
succeeded, and succeeded. That is I succeeded 3 times. Does anyone have any idea of
how I can unsubscribe 2 times so that I only see singles of each message not
triples. That is without unsubscribing 3 times and completely loosing the list.
