latest gnome-applets gone?

Where do I find the latest gnome-applets?
One would think that it should be in:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/sources/gnome-applets/
but no, 1.2.4 is the latest there. I think it really should be there.
Hopefully the one in charge of gnome-applets will read this and put it up.
