Well, after a bit of search, it seems that it does not conform to the
GNOME HIG. See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92139 .

Ok, has anyone a clue about why the proposed patch for this enhancement
( see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=38248&action=view )
hasn't been comitted yet ? I don't know if there is a roadmap for
gnome-terminal, and what is the most wanted kind of help. According to
the logs, there has been approximatively one commit every couple of
days. I'm willing to help if it is usefull, but i don't want to step on
someone's shoes. 

Kjartan, what do you think about this ?
