sh: `-c' requires an argument

I just installed the latest Redhat Gnome RPMs. Generally works fine, the
occasional core dump from something. And the whole thing has gone down a
couple times.
One thing I have notice and am wondering if this is a symptom, is this
message on the screen after exiting gnome
sh: `-c' requires an argument.
Any suggestions?
