Dieter has been speaking with the gtk developers on IRC, and has been
working on making gobject-introspection work on Windows - he's usually
on #gobject-introspection and has been filing bugs and pushing patches
to Git, starting from this commit:
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gobject-introspection/commit/?id=a8977bc6c93793fc9a2e9b6d4315c385d5ed4cb9
this will make it possible to build introspection data and use gtk 3.0
and other libraries through pygobject (amongst other things).
