I talked with Gaute about this on irc and he asked me to register my
objections. Here are my comments if anyone cares:
I don't really like the menu because there isn't a direct relationship
between it and the folder metaphor (unless you have a real good
understanding of unix paths).
I can understand why you would find the menu useful, but i don't think
it would be as immediately obvious what is going on to unexperienced
users. The nice thing about apple's implementation is that it opens what
you are pointing at, as oppose to some abstract representation of it.
