I think it is valid. I will explain why. GitLab tracks problem with
package. But @albfan <https://discourse.gnome.org/u/albfan> is asking
what functionality is missed that prevent you to use the package. People
may use CLI, other product or gitg. So question is why not gitg? I think
it is worth to get opinion from the public. Best,

I’m not sure what you’re after here. This seems mostly already covered
in the Gitlab issue, right?

Generally, if there’s info that needs adding, I would recommend
following up on the issue itself to prevent splitting the discussion.

If there’s something preventing you from use gitg, please tell us here

See there’re existing open issues (rebase, pull, split view) but we are
looking here for new ideas to increase the user audience for gitg
