Actually I agree with you, but I didn't put the <sarcasm> tag in my
original post.  I consider myself a power user and *like* lots of
options, and don't completely agree with the gnome2 philosophy.  I do
agree with "lets do it right from the start", but not so much with the
"lets get rid of all options". 

This has been flame wared to death on the lists though, especially about
metacity et all, and until I get to be a real gnome developer, I have to
simply give kudos to those who have done such awsome work so far :)
