Windows has many more obscure, ridiculous options than GNOME, so if you want
to make an accurate comparison, say "Mac OS". GNOME 1.x was *far* closer to
Windows-level crack than GNOME 2.x.

Whether this is FUD directed at Windows or GNOME (or reflected off both), I
don't know, but it's not at all correct.
