Hi

One of the bugs listed in this entry is that GNOME apps he starts
(e.g. gnome-terminal) have a pwd other than '~/'.

I think I've figured out why, I just re-installed all the GNOME rpms
and for some reason I had the same problem. I grepped for the
directory that was appearing incorrectly and found that it was located
several times in '~/.gnome/session' with the entry
"n,CurrentDirectory=/wrong/directory/foo". I killed X, removed the
session file and restarted X. The current directory is now my proper
home directory.

I'm not sure if you guys have a policy on this CurrentDirectory
session entry, but it should probably be configurable - I want it to
be my home directory no matter what I do, where I start GNOME from,
etc.
