Okie doke, Back to dealing with the reality of Gconf, I've attached the result of make dist, could anyone take a peek, or perhaps try out the tarball, see if it works for them and if not offer clues as to why not? Cheers for the info on the current state of Gconf Havoc, its nice to know exactly what I am dealing with, I can temper my frustration with understanding in future useage :) Cheers all, Gaz
