That's actually what I suggested in an off-list email to Samuel:
« Actually, I'm more and more wondering whether there should be a
"gnome-multimedia" release with various multimedia tools (sound-juicer,
totem, rhythmbox/muine, cantus, ...) or not. That would probably be nice
to give some kind of endorsement to good multimedia apps without
bloating the core of GNOME. But that's more or less what 5th toe is
about, so it may be enough to just advertise it a bit more. »

Thinking about it some more, I think it would be best to make 5th toe
more prominent (mention it in gnome release notes, make it easy to find
on gnome.org, ...). I guess giving a hand to the people in charge of 5th
toe would help too :)
