I did loose focus of the topic.  I was selfishly thinking `We could use
some CSS parsing code from GtkHTML2 into GtkHTML1' for other purposes,
not really addressing any of your questions on compatibility.

But I think people have answered that to you, so you can now sleep in
peace.
